## Python sandboxing [#python-sandboxing]

* Added a Linux sandbox that blocks direct network access, unrelated files, and child processes, with enforced memory limits.
* Added `mlab script precheck` to validate scripts using simulated orders before deployment.
* Changed scripts or parameters require another successful precheck. The sandbox stays active during live execution.

Normal local Python usage is unchanged. Server setup and the command are covered in [Runtime Safety](/scripting-v2/runtime-safety#server-sandbox-and-precheck).
